Tom “Windy” O’ Neill was a Toronto Maple Leaf from
1943 to 1945. His ancestors hailed from Co. Mayo in
Ireland and have been in the Public House business
in Canada for generations. Tom passed away at a young
age an accomplished Lawyer, piano player and Stanley
Cup Winner.
Tom’s ability to spark a party atmosphere with his presence was inspiration enough for his younger brother Paul to name a cozy watering hole after Tom Windy O’ Neill. |
